The Reading Fix

I must admit when I am not on holiday I am a terrible reader. I keep up to date in newspapers magazines and webbsites but books during the week - hardly - although I sometimes I wished I had a bit more peace of mind to actually sit down and read. For me the audiobooks and podcasts are enough to give me my literature fix.

Listening to the sommar podcast with Swedish journalist and blogger Andres Lokko gave me a lot to smile about. His way of explaining life as a swede in London was spot on. The pub culture, the bank holidays, being sorry and the food.

Wednesday and midweek and I can smell and taste the word holiday. Tonight after pole dancing I am heading of for a tour around town with entrepreneur S to find some little goodies and a Swedish Kubb game for the picnic on Saturday. Kubb I so strongly associate with beautiful summer nights and the companionship of gorgeous friends.
