Wow, sometimes time just flies by at the speed of light – a lot of things going on @ work, with friends, events... And all of a sudden its the weekend again :D
Thursday we went to the Opera, and the Musical “Guys and Dolls” was playing. The musical is based on a novel by Damon Runyon and is about a gambler and salvation army sergeant falling in love – not exactly the ideal match at first sight! The opera was as always fab when it comes to scenery and costume but unfortunately neither acting nor singing delivered any kind of quality. The show reminded me more of a Swedish phenomenon called “Buskis” – except for the show presenter and the dancers! As always me and my date L were on the same frequency and just a glance at each other was enough to know what the other thought. Afterwards there was drinks at Avalon in front of the open fire - this might be my favourite spot in G-burg right now :)
Tonight however I’m off to see a professional dancer – Michael Jackson – in the movie about his last show that never went up on stage.
But first its time for some ball training and catching up with the family.
