Started off the weekend with a spa evening and 80 minutes of blissful massage and pedicure. My toenails are now coloured blood red – in true Halloween spirit.
What always amazes me about spas is that as soon as you put on that white bathrobe, the peaceful music starts to sink in and you lie back and relax, it is like a wall of fatigue hits you.
Yesterday was no different – after the treatments, L and I were like two floating clouds.
Don’t get med wrong but spa treatments – no matter how many creams and scrubs that are applied and how nice that facial might be – sometimes feel superfluous. All you need is a change of environment, a nice and quiet place to lie down on and the white fluff.
