I have joined the circus

As of September I will be joining Circus Space in the Circus Arts
Acro course - learning how to tumble, acrobatic balances and aerial
conditioning. As of January it will all be Aerial Circus Arts involving
silks, rope, flying and static trapeze and me being the happiest person
on earth :) :) :)

After having completed 10 hours of air yoga in July I have also signed
up for 5 more hard core hours.

 This is my dream and it is all coming true!!!!

Underman

In hand to hand acrobatics the centre of attention
has always been the flyer. Rarely recognized is the base
the one who supports balances, the one who saves their
partners. That person is an underman. This is the true
story of three under men who were living their dreams.
Found the girl, toured the world, had fun, trained,
danced, had fame, great careers and love. But they
lost it all. With none to turn to and nowhere to go
they found each other. For the first time they did a show
where they don't hide behind tricks - they are themselves
and take the performance to a new level.

Underman - seriously guys - I am in love.
I haven't seen a show in a while that has touched me as
profoundly.

The music, the artist... I have to say I am very impressed.

Color me bad!

November has been grey as concrete so an evening
in the company of sweetheart Polise and La Soirée
was just what I needed.

So much color, so much fun and flesh (yes there
were almost naked men involved doing acrobatics).
Apparently the act varies so if I manage to lure another
victim into the trap I will go again!

Tonight I am meeting gorgeous vet M for an all organic
Swedish Fika in Camden and then I am going to finsih
of work. My presentation of 200 pages is coming to
an end.

Flight of the angels

In Zimbabwe you can go on a flight over the Victoria Falls that's called flight of the angels. Although far away from water falls and aeroplanes - Today I had air under my wings and sunshine in my heart. There are no words - just magic.

Saltimbanco

This month has kind of a circus theme for me.

Tonight me and M are going to see Saltimbanco - and she doesn't know it yet ;)

Saltimbanco comes from the Italian "saltare in banco", which means "to jump on a bench". The show explores the urban experience in all its forms: the people who live there, their idiosyncrasies and likenesses, families and groups, the hustle and bustle of the street and the towering heights of skyscrapers. Between whirlwind and lull, prowess and poetry, Saltimbanco takes spectators on an allegorical and acrobatic journey into the heart of the city.

Just watching their video on their website gives me goose bumps!!!
