We are back in London after some really nice days
in Sweden. Friday in Stockholm and Saturday in Gothenburg.
Lots of good food and good times catching up with dear old
friends and last but not least seeing dear J marrying his sweetheart
S. It was my first Persian-Afghani wedding and it was beautiful.
The dancing, the fruit, the food, the beautiful ladies and the amazing
chants. I had a blast.
During the wedding there was a big piece of cloth in front
of the couple with a mirror and two candlelight holders
symbolizing life and fire. There was also eggs, pomegranates, bread
with blessings written on it, spices, flowers and the koran.
After the ceremony the couple give each other henna and honey
to symbolize the sweetness of life. So much to take in. I am amazed.
This week will be a lot of hard core training and on Friday I am off
for sun and fun on Ibiza. What are you up to this week?
