Swings and roundabouts is an English expression for
a situation where you have as many gains as you have problems.
Coming back is lovely, great and truly inspiring.
Walking around my old hoods, hanging out with friends
(and yes a shit load of work on top of that) but anyhow...
Yesterday, I met a dear old friend who is a
stand up comedian slash sales man slash
entrepreneur slash journalist.
His column on Swedish Radio is a
lifeline to Gothenburg
and listening to his thoughts always makes me smile.
He once called me a mix of a Superhero
and a Mother figure and he is a mix between an old
philosopher and a rascal.
Today, Monday I will kick off some work,
lunch with two old colleagues, coffee with old colleagues,
a telephone conference with a big bank, a glogg (mulled wine)
session with my dear darling old studdy buddies, and last but
not least an Iranian dinner with my fantastic Iranian Mummy.
