Midsummer

Today is midsummer and instead of being somewhere along the coast

line in Sweden, freezing in a nice summer dress, eating herring and drinking snaps
I'm working, wearing a nice summer dress (cause its causal Friday), not freezing.

The midsummer celebration for me today will be strawberries at lunch with

Jo and mr A. Wonder if I can get them to wear a flower wreath (blomster krans)...

This is my absolute favourite of the Swedish traditions except for the

Crayfish and lobster festivals later in the year.

A year ago I kidnapped L to Tjorn where we rented an atelier and enjoyed the “party”.

Tomorrow Im of to Switzerland to say goodbye to a great man and

to see my beloved family.
