Summer is just around the corner – but are you getting into the mood yet?
My weekend has been really good despite last week’s disappointment with cancelled flights.
Friday was spent on the roof top terrace of the Boundary enjoying langoustines and rose wine, followed by a massive
Club tour in Angel and Shoreditch (London’s trendy upcoming areas) – the Hoxton Pony, Ladybird and Ziloufs.
Saturday – brunch in trendy Fulham, a visit to the tattoo shop with S who is getting an extension of beautiful god Vishnu, shopping at Harvey Nich’s and having a lazy afternoon reading the FT and having a powernap. In the evening there was dinner in the Notting Hill pub called the Oak followed by drinks at the Landsdowne. I am so moving to Notting Hill as soon as my contract expires. Knightsbridge is sooo overrated.
Sunday – Turkish Breakfast (yum!!!!), touring around Angel, drinks at the Elk, Iron Man 2 and candle light Cheese and Wine.
Monday was bank holiday and I slept far too long before it was time to do the shores... All the fun stuff you save until the last minute – cleaning, washing, bills etc etc. In the afternoon I met up with Kaisawho took me to watch the Pet Kingdom at Harrod’s where they have puppies for about £2,200 each and a cookie bar for the pets, a paw-ty catering service for the little doggies and cats on those special occasions.
Tonight Im off to a special event at Harvey Nich's meeting up with Visa marketing exec K to sip some free champagne and check out the goodies. Then Im off to bed. Todays chiropractor treatment with a hammer against my collar bone kind of got the edge off my day.
