Last week I was incredibly tired. All the travelling, lack of sleep and intense life with a lot of work and pleasure kind of got to me. A funny thing about travelling is that although you don’t do that much when you travel you get tired. Today I told a friend of mine and for the first time I heard an explanation that made sense to me – although it may sound a bit silly to you ;)
When the Indians travel they always stay a couple of days in between destinations so that their souls can catch up or travel by a slower means of transportation. Even if you don’t believe in Indian philosophy it makes sense that it takes energy for your mind to adapt to new time zones and new environments.
When hearing this I started making some research about Native Indians - and I just had to share these word with you:
May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
Go Forward With Courage
When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.
Then act with courage.
When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.
Then act with courage.
Sleep tight and may your mocassins make happy tracks wherever you go ;)
