International Weekend

One thing I love about living in London is the encounters with 

people from all over the world.

I started this weekend with a coffee with a Chinese friend, a 

glass of wine with some of my French

colleagues – listening to everything from politics to cheese.

Saturday morning is as always circus school –this is the last session for this term

- with Italian-American circus artist Nick (he has a stinking garlic tattoo on his arm – 

“we Italians love our garlic”).

This weekend we have visitors from Sweden and around the UK with Indian 

origin and we are going to

have a huge dinner on Saturday evening. Before that I am off to a lunch with 

Swedes, Irish, Aussies, Bangladeshi,

Austrian, British, Indian and Kiwis.

Sunday I am  going for a run and then meeting up with my gorgeous

Japanese friend Y for Japanese style nails (very ornate and cute) and 

then nabe (Japanese special winter soup).
