Disconnect

Hello my dear little peeps,

In the UK this is a bank holiday and we have been keeping
ourselves busy at the flat all weekend painting, hanging pictures, cleaning,
organizing and ordering new stuff. I love our little flat and things are
starting to come together nicely.

What else has been going down? Friday, me and S went to the premiere
of the newly refurbished Barbican cinema and the movie "The Bourne Legacy",
excellent movie and the venue is cool but very old school. Afterwards we headed to
Whitecross street and an Italian romantic restaurant and gorged in yummie pasta
before continuing to Nightjar - one of my favorite bars in London. Entering
this place feels like taking a step back in time to New Orleans. The cocktails
were amazing as was my gorgeous cavalier.

Saturday, I visited a triathlon store nearby Kings Cross and my heart did
take a few extra beats when seeing the beautiful bikes and all the gear.
In the evening I was supposed to have a trapeze class but due to the
London "summer" weather it got cancelled. Instead we ordered loads
of delicious Thai food and watched a movie - exhausted with all the activities
of the day.

Sunday, nice morning run finishing off with some full on sprints - few things
beat the feeling of letting your body out. In the evening we went to Hoxton hotel
usually an excellent choice but this time round it was just a big let down.

Well, it is Monday evening - I have polished off a gym session and a spinning
session, socialized, painted the kitchen and done heaps of laundry. No doubt,
I will sleep like a baby tonight.
