Although it is still hot enough to sit outside for a while and get a little
bit of sun before its supposed to get even greyer and colder.
This weekend the temperature was well above 20 and
London was showing itself from the fanciest side with blossoming
trees and happy tanned people when sweetheart LR came to visit.
After a bit of London chaos she finally made it here.
London is chaotic. It is hard to get there when you planned to
and you have to be prepared to ask people around you, change
your plans somewhat and go with the flow.
Saturday after a long yummie breakfast we headed out on a
tour around the area and then we had dinner at the Summerhouse
which is a summer restaurant just by the canal. Words are not
enough to describe. The evening was magical!!
Instead of dessert we enjoyed a burlesque show in the theatre district.
Sunday was all for chilling and catching up and in the evening I
managed to copy mums potato salad - I finally got it - Mum thanks.
This week has lots of nice things coming up. Tonight we are picking up
the sofa we won in an auction (yay) and then I am going for a walk
with finance guru S. Amongst others we have schnitzel time, girlie catch up,
a lot of training, tango and a few needles to finish off my week.
