Truffles and the brownie reject

Holiday sweet sweet holiday.

Since I have so many lovely people in my life
I have gotten home cooked food several days
although I had to work very late.

Pasta with fresh black truffles and a brownie reject
(left overs of a massive brownie bake) one day,
delicious greek salad the other and this is just the tip
of the iceberg.

In 45 minutes my taxi comes to take me to
Paddington and then it is off on Heathrow Express
to Terminal 1 where the flight to my dear dear
family awaits.

Having seen all the news this week on cancelled
flights, stranded passengers and bad weather
I dont know how many times I have had tears in my
eyes. But now I am on my way.

And drawing close to Christmas, I am very
grateful for having you in my life!
