The flame

When the winds have blown too hard

When too many tears have been shed
Will the flame still burn
Will the flame still warm
When too many words have been said
Or too little has been outspoken
Will the flame still shine
Will the flame still comfort

When light has come after dark
and when new views can be sighted
Will the flame still attract
Or will it just burn
